Spain: Dunkin' Donuts Changes Name to Dunkin' Coffee

Sept 21, 2007 – US giant Dunkin Donuts has revealed plans to change the name of its Iberian subsidiary after buying Spanish company Panrico's 50 pct share in the firm.

Dunkin’ European General Manager Michael Cortelletti confirmed this week that following the acquisition from Panrico, it will be renaming its outlets Dunkin’ Coffee, after market research showed demand in Spain for the beverage is on the up.

The group also announced proposals to expand its business in Andalucía in the south of the country.
