Wrigley to Expand Tennessee Plant

19 July 2010 - Wrigley is planning to invest USD 28 million to expand its Jersey Pike plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

It is expected that the expansion building work will finish before the end of 2010 and new equipment will be installed by mid-2011.

The move, which is aimed at doubling the plant's production, could lead to the creation of 40 to 50 jobs.

The plant mainly manufactures 'Life Savers Gummies' and currently employs 265 full-time and temporary employees.
