Ulster Dairy Company Dale Farm Buys Superchill Ice Cream Business

16 August 2007 - Northern Ireland dairy company Dale Farm has acquired the ice cream business of Superchill, a distribution company owned by Ireland's Breeo Foods, for an undisclosed sum, reports the Irish media.

Based in Galway and Letterkenny, Superchill, currently distributes Dale Farm, Cadbury, Mars, Nestle and Haagan Dazs ice cream products across the north west of Ireland.

The newly acquired business will trade as Dale Farm Ice Cream.

Superchill has an annual turnover from ice cream sales of over 1 million euro and employs 6 people.
