17 September 2007 - Biscottes Auga Picard SA, part of French bakery group Brioche Pasquier, is planning to close its Chateauroux production site in 2009, reports the local press.
According to management, the Chateauroux facility, which has 143 employees, is no longer economically viable.
The reports add that a new production site will be built in the Maine-et-Loire department, an area where it plans to refocus its activities.
Brioche Pasquier acquired Auga in 2005.
