19 September 2007 - According to Japanese press reports, snack food maker Calbee Foods' US subsidiary, Calbee America Inc., has began operations at its new plant in California.
The new plant has a monthly capacity of 200,000 cases and it will mainly produce Calbee’s shrimp chips snow pea crisps.
Calbee America also plans to push the promotion of its snacks across the US and will increase its sales personnel in New York, add the reports.
