Russia: Confectionery Firm Landrin Builds 15 Mln Euro Plant in Pushkino

25 September 2007 - Landrin group, who's director-general, Igor Markitantov, was a distributor for Ferrero in northwest Russia before creating Landrin, has invested 15 million euro in its Pushkino facility to manufacture chocolate wafer type sweets, similar to Ferrero's “Raffaello” and “Ferrero Rocher” brands.

Boris Prokchorov, business manager for the Landrin group, informs FLEXNEWS that the facility, which is supplied with first class equipment acquired from Italy and Austria and has completely automated production lines, has been operational since April 2007. 

Established in 2003, Landrin’s main brands are “Petrushka” chocolate eggs, “Soulmate”, “Brave Soldiers”, etc. The group also has contracts with animation studios such as Disney and Sony Animation.

Landrin’s annual turnover is estimated at USD 100 million.
