International Specialty Products to Increase Global Prices Effective November 1, 2007

Wayne, New Jersey, Oct. 5 - International Specialty Products Inc. (ISP) will increase the global prices for polymers, vinyl monomers, alginates, emollients, and emulsifiers by 5-10%, effective November 1, 2007, or as contracts allow.

This price increase applies to products sold into the personal care, pharmaceutical, oral care, food, beverage, performance chemicals, and agricultural markets. The price increase is necessary due to the continuing escalation in raw materials, energy, and product stewardship expenses.
