Bangkok, Oct 16 - Thai fast-food restaurant firm Minor International said on Tuesday it would buy a 50 percent stake in Australia's Coffee Club Holdings Pty Ltd for 660 million baht ($19 million).
Thailand's largest listed hotelier, which also runs global food franchises including Burger King and Dairy Queen in Thailand, said in a statement it expected the purchase to be completed by the end of this year.
Minor's wholly-owned Delicious Food Holding (Australia) Pte Ltd would buy the stake from Coffee Club for A$23 million, or A$1 a share, the firm told the Thai stock exchange in a statement.
Coffee Club runs a restaurant franchise with more than 80 outlets in Australia and New Zealand.
Minor shares, valued at $1.76 billion on the Thai bourse, closed unchanged at 18.30 baht on Tuesday, when the main index rose 1.14 percent.
