Mitsubishi Corp Drops Bid for 10% of SDIC Zhonglu Fruit Juice (DJ)

Beijing, Nov. 15 - Mitsubishi Corp. (MSBHY) has dropped its plan to take a 10% stake in China's SDIC Zhonglu Fruit Juice Co. (600962.SH) after the two firms were unable to settle on a price, the Shanghai-listed beverage maker said Thursday.

On July 2, SDIC Zhonglu said it would sell 21.5 million A hares in a private placement to the Japanese firm, without giving a price for the sale.

Around 0600 GMT, its shares were down 0.7% at CNY18.33, up from CNY17.18 on June 29, the day the deal was signed.
