Friesland Foods Domo to Develop Technology together with Novasep Process

Nov. 19 - Friesland Foods Domo and Novasep Process have signed a partnership agreement for the joint development of separation technology. The aim of the cooperation is to develop innovative technology with which new (functional) ingredients can be produced and existing products improved.

Friesland Foods Domo develops, produces and markets high-quality whey and milk-based ingredients, which it supplies to infant nutrition, food and pharmaceutical companies all over the world. Friesland Foods Domo's expertise on dairy ingredients and Novasep Process s technological know-how combine to create an extensive technology platform. Under the terms of the agreement, the relationship will be exclusive for new technologies to develop and produce ingredients which are considered as strategic for both companies. The partnership agreement will last for five years.

Roelof Joosten, Managing Director of Friesland Foods Domo explained: By implementing advanced technology, we want to be able to respond more quickly to market demands and shor ten our products t ime to market . In Novasep Process, we have found a valuable partner with whom to develop this technology.
