20 November 2007 - Japanese seasonings maker Ariake has completed the construction of a manufacturing facility in Alençon (Basse-Normandie department), France.
The new 6600m2 facility will mainly produce dried products and will develop a revolutionary “bouillon” that will be launched at the start of 2008.
Local French media reports say that the Japanese firm has invested 15 million euro in the factory.
Ariake first expanded internationally in the 1990s after establishing its North American subsidiary. The company then went on to reinforce its presence in Asia with new factories in China and in Taiwan.
