LycoRed and BTSA Team up

Nov. 20 - LycoRed Limited.,UK, and BTSA, Spain, have entered into an agreement to cooperate in penetrating the food and beverage fortification markets in Spain and Portugal with vitamin and mineral premixes and microencapsulated ingredients developed by LycoRed.

"We are proud to have BTSA as part of our European team,” says Udi Alroy, V.P. Global Marketing and Sales at LycoRed. "They bring with them more than 14 years of industry experience and market insight. Among their responsibilities, will be the development of new market categories and the introduction of innovative products to the Spanish market."

Ana V. Ugidos, CEO of BTSA notes, “With our background and reputation, BTSA believes it can substantially increase LycoRed's market share on the Iberian Peninsula, establishing a strong basis for other new lines of business in the region.”

BTSA has received several awards for its research into new formulas and applications. This research driven approach is the basis for the development of solutions tailor made for BTSA customers, including water dispersible natural vitamin E and Omega 3 from fish oil, flaxseed oil and seaweed.
