Whitbread to Open Costa Coffee Chain in China

London, Nov 27 - Costa Coffee owner Whitbread said on Tuesday it planned to open 300 coffee shops in China over the next five years.

The firm, which has been pushing Costa into new countries over the last year, said it would open the shops in tandem with joint venture partner Beijing Hualian Group.
