Vandemoortele's Croustifrance to Build New Facility in Arras, France

28 November 2007 - Belgian food group Vandemoortele's French subsidiary Croustifrance, a manufacturer of bakery products and part of the Vandemoortele Lipids & Dough division, has announced it will build a new 15,000m2 frozen bread facility near Arras, northern France.

The new plant will have a yearly production capacity of 40,000 tons and, according to local press reports, is estimated at 25 million euro.

The facility will initially employ 70 workers when it becomes operational in early 2009.

It is expected that construction works will begin in March 2008.
