Canada: OMERS Capital Partners Acquires Give and Go Prepared Foods

Toronto, Dec. 21 - OMERS Capital Partners ("OCP") the private equity arm of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System ("OMERS"), one of Canada's largest pension funds, has purchased Give and Go® Prepared Foods Corp., the North American market leader in premium indulgent thaw-and-serve sweet baked goods. The company is best known for its high quality line of Two-Bite® portion-controlled products.

The company operates out of two adjacent plants in Toronto, Canada and develops, manufactures and markets 12 categories of thaw-and-serve baked goods products to grocery store chains, discount/club store chains, foodservice operators and convenience stores. Give and Go® primarily markets its products under its Two-Bite® brand and also offers the Homestyle® and Caterer's SecretTM brands.
