Kentea Ltd. Has Become Part of the MB Group

Jan. 1 - On January 1st 2008 Kentea Ltd. became part of the MB Group of Companies. Kentea, incorporated in 1977, is one of the largest and oldest tea importing companies in North America and has an extensive network of clients and suppliers around the world.

Vic Ferretti (President), Nick Salza (Vice-President) and Theresa Swanson will remain with the business as it moves into a new era under new ownership. Their extensive experience and reputation for excellent service in the marketplace is an integral part of Kentea’s future.

Richard Enticott will join the board of directors as the CEO of Kentea from January 1st 2008. William Nicholas has been appointed treasurer and secretary of Kentea and will be responsible for all financial matters.

Plantextrakt’s expanding business demands an even tighter relationship with its key raw material suppliers and Martin Bauer’s policy of taking complete responsibility for the suitability, safety and security of ingredients used within its manufacturing operations lends itself well to this development.
