Germany: Harry-Brot to Build New Frozen Bakery Products Plant

11 January 2008 – Harry-Brot is to build a new factory in Soltau, Germany, in a bid to take advantage of strong growth in the frozen bakery sector, according to a press release from the Soltau local government.

Work on the new factory, which will be entirely devolved to the manufacture of frozen bakery products, should start in spring 2008, with production set to begin in spring 2009.

Hamburg-based Harry-Brot will invest 50 million euro in the project, which should create 125 new jobs.
