Bulgaria: Loulis Group Buys Extra Stake in Sofia Mel Flour Mill

28 January 2008 - Greece's Loulis Mills S.A has announced that its subsidiary company Loulis Mel Bulgaria S.A has acquired an extra 13,610 shares in its subsidiary Sofia Mel S.A, a flour miller located in Sofia.

The company has increased its stake in the company from 33,31% to 35,33%.

Sofia Mel produces approximately 130,000 tons of flour per year.

In July 2007, FLEXNEWS reported that Austrian food industry investment company Leipnik Lundenburger Invest (LLI) acquired, as part of its expansion strategy in the European milling market, a 60% stake in Loulis of Romania and Sofia Mel SA in Bulgaria.
