France: Entremont Alliance to Start Cheddar Production in Quimper Plant

28 January 2008 - French dairy products manufacturer Entremont Alliance plans to produce up to 22,000 tons of cheddar per year for its export markets in its Quimper (Finistere department) plant.

Production is expected to start in May of this year when a new production line will become operational, reports the local press.

As a result, the facility will see its yearly output grow to 200,000 tons and an extra 15 staff will be employed.

Entremont Alliance currently employs 220 people at its Quimper plant.
