Mumbai, Jan 29 - India's Tata Coffee Ltd is likely to export about 14,000 tonnes of coffee in 2007/08, slightly higher from a year ago, due to rising demand from Russia and on hopes of higher output, a top official said on Tuesday.

India's total coffee exports fell 11 percent in 2007 due to a rise in the rupee, the Coffee Board said earlier this month.

The company is also planning to open six more retail outlets by the end of this financial year, M.H. Ashraff, managing director of Tata Coffee, told Reuters in an interview.
