US: Chocolate Confectionery Sales to Top $323 Million Valentine's Week

8 February 2008 – US consumers are forecast to splurge more than $323 million on chocolate sweets during Valentine's week, according to The Nielsen Company.

Valentine’s week ranked number one for chocolate confectionery sales in 2007 with $322.7 million, and third for all sweets sales behind Halloween and Easter with $414.6 million.
