Campbell to Manufacture Broths in Russia

14 February 2008 – Campbell Soup Co. will start manufacturing broths in Russia for sale on the local market, according to media reports.

Campbell will cooperate with Russian meat supplier Joosten Products to produce broths at a factory outside Moscow. The Russian unit of New Jersey-based Campbell aims to start selling locally produced broths by the end of 2008.

Campbell began exporting broths to Russia, the world’s second biggest market for soup, in October 2007.
