Russia: Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods Invests $12.7 Million in Dairy Farm Construction

18 February 2008 – Russia's leading dairy and juice manufacturer, Wimm-Bill-Dann OJSC, has invested $12.673 million in the construction of a dairy farm in the Leningrad Region, local media report.

The plant, which is due to open on 19 February, will house 1,200 dairy cows and produce 10,000 tonnes of milk a year, making it one of the largest dairy farms in the country.
