Cadbury Schweppes Reports 10% Underlying Earnings Growth

·Major business units performed well: Dr Pepper/Seven Up (DPSU) gained overall market share; key chocolate companies grew profits by an average of 9%
·Sale of beverages brands in 160 markets to The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) completed for nearly $1bn
·US beverages strengthened through acquisition of Hawaiian Punch and the Dr Pepper Bottling Company of Texas
·Wedel, Poland's leading chocolate brand, successfully integrated with Cadbury Poland
·Free cash flow of £292 million
·Marketing to sales ratio increased to 18.1% and trading margin to 16.2%, both on a continuing operations basis
