5 March 2008 - Arla Foods, Northern Europe's largest dairy manufacturers of milk, cheese, yogurt, cream and other dairy products, plans to close its Sheffield Park distribution site in July 2008, the group has announced in a press release.
Arla Foods is currently consulting with its Sheffield Park employees and their trade union representatives.
The closure would result in around 90 job losses.
Production at the Sheffield Park facility, near Uckfield (East Sussex), stopped at the end of June 2006.
