B&D Enters Final Stage of Refurbishment of BDFC Brazil - Its Brazilian Instant and Roasted Coffee Processing Facility

New York, March 11 - B&D(R) Food Corp. operating in the food and beverage industry, B&D specializes in the growing, trading, roasting and distribution of top quality Arabica coffee and related products worldwide.

     BDFC Brazil, located in Cruzeiro Sao-Paulo is expected to gradually resume production by the beginning of Q2/2008 and reach its full production capacity by Q4.

    The Factory has undergone extensive machinery and infra-structure improvements that have upgraded the facility to a modern, state-of-the-art level.

    "During the first stages the Factory is expected to operate as a processor for 3rd party clients worldwide. In later stages, we hope to reinstate our previously successful brand names," says plant GM, Mrs. Valquiria da Cunha.

    Operating in full capacity, BDFC Brazil is capable of producing large amounts of spray-dried instant coffee, roasted coffee and various cappuccino\chocolate RTD (Ready-to-drink) beverages. The factory has, in the past, produced both 3rd party and private label brands.

    Resuming production in the Cruzeiro Factory is expected to generate substantial income into B&D by the end of 2008.
