Spain: Baker Dulcesol to Invest 32 Mln Euro in 2008-2009

14 March 2008 - Spanish bakery firm Dulcesol has announced it will budget 32 million euro for investments during 2008 and 2009.

The company recently inaugurated a new 20,000m2 production facility at its Villalonga site, in Galicia, and offices in Gandia.

Established during the 1950s, Dulcesol has become one of the most important Spanish groups within the food sector. In 2007, company turnover reached 204 million euro.

For the past 4-5 years Dulcesol has invested around 75 million euro in new offices, new manufacture and production premises, auxiliary facilities and new production lines, in both the Gandia and Villalonga sites.

Currently, Dulcesol has a workforce of 1,810 and has an annual production of 101,000 tons.
