Denmark: Orkla's Dragsbaek Buys 60% of Health Food Company Naturli'

17 March 2008 - Danish margarine producer Dragsbaek has acquired a 60% stake in health foods company Naturli´ Foods. Poul Agger, Naturli's managing director, has kept the remaining 40%, the company said.

Naturli´ Foods manufactures vegetable-based alternatives to dairy products and has an annual turnover of DKK 20 million (about 2.7 million euro).

Thanks to this acquisition, Dragsbaek, part of Orkla Foods, expects its 2008 turnover to amount to DKK 870 million (about 116 million euro). Currently, Dragsbaek has about 200 employees.
