Vertellus Specialties Announces Global Price Increase for Vitamin B3

25 March, 2008 - Vertellus Specialties is announcing a global price increase for Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide and Niacin) for animal nutrition markets and human nutrition markets. This also includes all intermediates(3 Cyanopyridine) and raw materials (3 Methyl Pyridine) for this product chain as well.

Effective July 1st, 2008, the price will increase 15% to 18% for non-contract customers or as existing contracts allow. This price increase will support investment in capacity to support continued growth in the global market for Vitamin B3.
