China Mengniu Dairy 2007 Results Beat Forecasts, Net Profit up 29%

8 April 2008 - Media report that China Mengniu Dairy Co., the country's largest milk producer by sales volume, saw its 2007 net profit rise 29% to CNY935.8 million ($133.657 million), beating analysts's forecasts.

Revenue jumped 31% to CNY21.32 billion ($3.045 billion).

Hong-Kong-listed China Mengniu Dairy is a milk and dairy processor. It was involved in a partnership with Danone until December 2007, when the food and drinks giant pulled out of the dairy venture, as reported on FLEXNEWS.
