9 April 2008 – A £3 million ($5.9 million) extension at Dairy Farmers of Britain's Bridgend Dairy was inaugurated yesterday, local media report.
The extension, which includes a new milk bottling line and a new cold store, is part of development plans that have seen the dairy’s annual capacity increase three-fold since October 2006 to its current level of 165 million litres.
Further plans could see capacity increase to 230 million litres, add the reports.
