The food and beverage manufacturer will increase prices on 66 items, slightly more than 60% of all products, by roughly 3.8% to 9.4% in response to higher costs for ingredients and packaging materials.

It will mark the first time that Kagome has raised the price of the Yasai Seikatsu 100 vegetable juice brand since the core product was first introduced 12 years ago.

The suggested retail price for Yasai Seikatsu 100 and Apple 100 beverages in 200ml paper containers will be raised by Y9 yen to Y114, with the price of 900-gram plastic bottles of tomato juice going up Y34 yen to Y391.

Kagome won't change the price of 36 products sold in glass bottles and cans.
