France: Brioche Pasquier to Close Chateauroux Plant Earlier than Expected

28 April 2008 - Biscottes Auga Picard SA, part of French bakery group Brioche Pasquier, which initially planned to close its Chateauroux production site in 2009, will instead cease activities at the plant in July this year, reports the local media.

In September 2007, FLEXNEWS reported that the Chateauroux facility, which has 143 employees, was considered by management as “no longer economically viable”.

Brioche Pasquier acquired Auga in 2005.
