"Following market trends, we see the potential behind better omega-3 as significant.  Indeed, it seems that the demand for a high-quality krill oil is surging and we have expanded our capacity further to meet market expectations,"  company sources say.

"On top of that our engineers were able to come with a modified process, which would enable us to offer in parallel a new grade of Krill oil , having modified  Phospholipids and omega-3 content but with a significantly lower price making this more suitable for other market segments.  This ingredient will be offered in addition to our commercial  high-grade Krill oil.  The fact that the krill oil is for us both a final product and an interim phase for more advanced nutrients that we make, enables us to maintain consistently high quality standards while having great flexibility and efficiency."  the sources conclude.

Enzymotec is a developer and manufacturer of innovative, lipid-based biofunctional ingredients for dietary supplements, functional foods, clinical nutrition and advanced infant nutrition. Key products are: SharpPS™ line of products- phosphatidylserine based ingredients for cognitive improvement, InFat™ - structured fat for infant formulas, Krill Oil+™ and CardiaBeat™.
