UK: Asda Recalls Flapjacks

May 2 - Asda has recalled some own-brand Flapjack Mini Bites because they might contain glass fragments. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

Asda has withdrawn the affected batch from sale. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores explaining why the product has been recalled. Anyone who has bought the product can return it for a full refund.

The product being recalled is:

  • Asda 20 Flapjack Mini Bites
  • Barcode: 27656990
  • Best before: 26 May 2008

No other Asda products are known to be affected.
