6 May 2008 - Malmö-based dairy company Skanemejerier has completed its acquisition of a 33% stake in Danish dairy Logismose Mejeri A/S. The news comes less than half a year after FLEXNEWS reported that both companies had entered into an agreement.
Björn Sederblad, Skanemejerier’s CEO, said that the cooperation with Lögismose will help the company to grow its exports sales for premium health products from the current SEK 2.8 billion (297.78 million euro) to SEK 3.4 billion in 2009-2010.
Skanemejerier is southern Sweden's leading dairy and is cooperatively owned by 670 dairy farms. It specialises in functional food.
