LAEP Announces Results and Moves Ahead with Its Consolidation Strategy

São Paulo, May 15, 2008 - LAEP Investments Ltd produces, processes, sells and distributes milk and dairy products, and to capitalize on its structure also produces and distributes cookies, cakes, juices and teas. LAEP (“Company”) has a nationwide presence and sells under well known brands in Brazil's milk industry, such as “Parmalat”, “Glória”, “Alimba”, “Lacesa”, ”Kidlat”, “Lady”, “Ibituruna” “Poços de Caldas” and “Paulista”.

LAEP’s current corporate structure is illustrated below. The company Só-nata is now called Companhia de Alimentos Glória ("Cia. Glória") and owns 100% of Cia. Ibituruna. On April 30, 2008, Ibituruna was merged into Cia. Glória.
