The new plant will produce microwaveable rice and vegetable products.

At present the facility has an annual production capacity of 9 million units. However, in the next 3 years, the company intends to grow to 23 million units.

According to the reports, Soufflet has invested 15 million euro in the project.

The plant  and its 205 workers will produce “Doy Packs” - stand-up pouches which offer shelf presence with less weight and lower cost vs. rigid containers, in addition to ease of disposal.
