South Korea's Lotte Confectionery Plans Indian Subsidiary

23 May 2008 - According to Southeast Asian media reports, Lotte Confectionery Co. of South Korea plans to set up a subsidiary in India.

The subsidiary will reportedly be capitalized at 88.8 billion won (about USD 85 million) and Lotte Confectionery will hold a 99.999% stake in the unit.

In June last year, FLEXNEWS reported that Lotte was investing USD 30 million to establish another subsidiary, but in China.
