Tesco Talking to Possible Partners for Indian Venture

28 May, 2008 – UK supermarket giant Tesco is said to be in negotiations with three parties in India with a view to establishing a presence in the country, Indian sources report.

The three potential suitors are believed to be Wadia’s, Kalptaru Properties and Parsvnath Developers.

Neither Tesco nor the Indian firms would comment on the speculation.
