European Commission Intends to Carry Out Inspection of Ukrainian Milk Processing Companies

June 4 - Inspectors of the Directorate General of the European Commission's Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) intend to carry out inspections of Ukrainian milk processing companies wishing to export their products to the EU in June-July, Head of the State Committee on Veterinary Medicine press service Anatoliy Osadchyi said.

A working meeting took place between representatives of the Ukrainian delegation and FVO Deputy Director General Paola Testori in Paris.

It resulted in an agreement about a verification visit of FVO inspectors for making an audit of Ukrainian milk processing companies, with the aim of familiarizing themselves with their work and studying opportunities of exporting Ukrainian products to the EU countries.

In addition, a preliminary agreement was reached about examination of the Ukrainian poultry farming enterprises for studying export opportunities of poultry meat and goose liver to the European Union.
