Springfield, Mo., June 24, 2008 - Paul Mueller Company (Mueller) has executed a Non-Binding Letter of Intent with KaJeMa Beheer B.V. to purchase all of the outstanding shares of all the companies in the MEKO Group, which are wholly owned by KaJeMa (MEKO).
MEKO is the European distributor for dairy farm milk coolers manufactured by Mueller's manufacturing facility located in Lichtenvoorde, The Netherlands. MEKO has handled distribution for over twenty years.
The transaction is subject to the completion of applicable notification requirements, the completion of due diligence, the execution of a definitive share purchase agreement, the approval of relevant authorities, and the approval of the Mueller Board of Directors. Closing of the transaction is planned for September 30, 2008.
