27 June 2008 - Carlsberg announced today that it has entered into an agreement with the Coca-Cola Company about extending its cooperation with the soft drinks giant in Denmark and Finland.
According to the agreement, which takes effect immediately, Coca-Cola acquires Carlsberg’s mineral water brands Kildevæld and Kurvand in Denmark and also enters into a license agreement for Ramlösa in Denmark.
Coca-Cola also acquires Carlsberg's Finnish soft drink brand Hyvää Päivää and enters into a license agreement for energy drink Battery in Finland.
Carlsberg, in a statement, said that the total sales price is USD 225 million (DKK 1.1 billion).
