Day In Import & Export Recalls Guilin Rice-flour Noodles

9,July, 2008 - Day In Import & Export Co Ltd has recalled some Guilin rice-flour noodles because of the presence of unauthorised 'Bt63' genetically modified rice. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

Bt63 is a genetically modified organism and is not authorised for sale in the European Union.

Day In Import & Export Co Ltd has recalled the affected batch. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed at shops that sell the product, explaining to customers the actions they can take if they have bought the affected product.

Best before: 26 April 2009

No other Day In Import & Export Co Ltd products are known to be affected.
