London, July 9 - World coffee production should be close to 128 million 60-kg bags in 2008/09, up from a previous estimate of 127 million, International Coffee Organization executive director Nestor Osorio said on Wednesday.
Osorio, in a monthly market report, did not provide details of the upward revisions.
His estimate for world coffee output in 2007/08 was raised to 118.2 million bags from a previous estimate of 116.9 million.
The revision reflected an increase of about 2.3 million bags in the official Brazilian estimate, partly offset by cuts for Africa, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
