USA: Snack Alliance Adds Rice Crisp Production Lines in Oregon Plant

14 July 2008 - US potato chip manufacturer Snack Alliance is expanding its plant in Hermiston, Oregon.

According to the local media, the company has added two production lines to produce "Riceworks" brand snacks. The brand is currently sold in Canada, the UK and in certain areas of the US.

The company has invested a total USD 2 million in the new lines, adds the media.

It is understood that the expansion will add 30 to 50 employees to the plant's existing staff of nearly 100.
