Pepsi Bottling to Open Warehouse in Tampa, Florida by Year-End

16 July 2008 - The Pepsi Bottling Group is building a warehouse in Tampa, Florida, next to its exisitng plant, local media report today.

According to a Pepsi Bottling Group spokesperson, the warehouse will have an automated storage and retrieval system.

It is expected that the warehouse will be operational near to the end of 2008.

Last week, Pepsi Bottling reported a Q2 2008 revenue of USD 3.5 billion, a 5% increase over the prior year. For 2008, the company added that it expects to achieve top-line growth of about 5 to 6%.
