Milan, July 18 - Italy's Parmalat SpA is in talks with bank UniCredit SpA to settle legal claims but an agreement has yet to be signed, the dairy group said on Friday.
A financial source had confirmed on Friday a press report that UniCredit would pay Parmalat 300 million euros ($475.5 million) to settle legal claims related to the food group's 2003 collapse.
"Concrete negotiations are underway with UniCredit in order to define settlement of pending disputes," Parmalat said in a statememt.
