Heineken Mulls Buying Germany's Krombacher-Report

Frankfurt, July 31 - Dutch brewer Heineken is considering taking over German peer Krombacher, German newspaper Financial Times Deutschland reported, without saying where it obtained the information.

The report said that Bernhard Schadeberg, managing director and a stakeholder in Krombacher, had been at Heineken headquarters in Amsterdam several times for talks.

A spokesman for Krombacher denied that there had been discussions, while Heineken declined to comment on the matter.
