Belvédère Shares Plummet on Return to Trading

31 July 2008 – French wine and spirit company Belvédère saw its shares dive and lose one third of their value on their return to trading yesterday.

Belvédère shares dived to a record  €26.83 low on 30 July.

Trading in Belvédère shares was suspended on 20 June and the company was placed in administration on 16 July for a minimum period of six months.

Belvédère asked NYSE Euronext on 29 July to re-allow trading in its shares on 30 July.
